SC - Please! Enough with the dead Frenchy. As much as I would prefer a different candidate, such as Mitt, McCain is more in line with the important things that I believe in than Obama. And that's what it comes down to - what is really important to me.
It's hard to stomach McCain's track record on many issues, but on abortion and marriage, he is inline with my beliefs. Global warming and climate change nonsense, and McCain-Feingold, and selling out Bush's judicial nominees are all very annoying, but not ultimately important. For that matter, nationalized healthcare, income tax rate, and many other democratic party touchstones are not ultimately important. With them or without them, my life will go on. If more of my money is taken away and goes to some other cause that I disagree with, I will still find a way to shelter and feed my family. We may have to give up our palatial suburban tract home and live in a small hut on Corsica eating grapes instead of chicken-fried steak, but we will survive.
What I cannot stomach is the deterioration and rejection of the most important issues - the sanctity of life, the distinctness of men and women, the eternal institution of marriage, etc. - while I stand by and do nothing. I live in the reddest area of the bluest state in the nation, so you could say my vote is wasted as well, but I will still do what I can. To paraphrase Mosiah and Helaman, when the time comes that the voice of the people chooses evil instead of good, watch out! It's important to be counted, even when you lose.
So no dead guy for me, and I hope no dead guy for you either.

I'm leaning towards Jacques Cousteau.

There's Obama gaffe clips all over youtube, and frankly it portrays him as far more Quayle-esque than Sarah Palin.
That's the great thing about the internet, the traditional media simply doesn't have the power over public perceptions that it once did.
